    "Thornwood has to be one of the most special private lodges on the North Coast. Our family recently treated us to a surprise weekend to celebrate our 40th anniversary, and they certainly chose a wonderful setting to celebrate.     Our stay this past month was as on the previous occasions, superb. We all had a wonderful time and my grand-daughter of 8 years loved meeting the game in Kuleni at such close quarters - particularly the Giraffe. It wont be long before we will be seeking another stay.

    As for the weekend it was fantastic and way beyond anything else we have experienced in the region. You guys have an absolute winner, which we were tempted to try our luck out on as squatters, as we did not want to leave!

Situated in the heart of the Elephant Coast on the eastern seaboard of the Zulu Kingdom, KwaZulu-Natal, Kuleni Game Park features 150 hectares of pristine natural bush and sand forest. A neighbour to the Phinda Game Reserve and The Isimangaliso/Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, (a registered world heritage site.) with Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game reserve and Sodwana Bay both in easy reach.
