Getting to Thorn Wood Lodge from Durban is a straightforward journey that takes you through some of KwaZulu-Natal’s most scenic landscapes. Start by heading north on the N2 highway towards Hluhluwe. Continue on the N2 for approximately 250 kilometers until you reach the Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay turnoff (Exit 375). Take this exit and turn left onto the R22 towards Sodwana Bay. After about 16 kilometers, you will see signs for Kuleni Nature Reserve on your right. Turn into the reserve and follow the signs to Thorn Wood Lodge. The well-maintained roads make for a pleasant drive, bringing you closer to the tranquility and beauty of your private bush retreat.
