Thornwood can host a maximum of 8 guests. There is one queen size bed, four single beds and two camping stretchers normally used for young children who would like to sleep in their parents room.

No, when you book to stay at Thornwood, you have the entire lodge exclusively to yourself.

No, Thornwood is not in a malaria area however do pack some mosquito spray!

YES! We have unlimited WiFi for all Thornwood guests. Signal is currently limited to the main lodge area but we are working to extend it to the cottages.

The closest shops are 16km from Thornwood in Hluhluwe Town, which you drive through to get to the lodge. There are a number of local restaurants to visit. You can find these listed in your information booklet upon booking.
